USPOULTRY Announces Winners of the 2004 Crystal Egg Award
For Immediate Release, June 15, 2004. The U.S. Poultry & Egg Association recently held its 4th Annual Crystal Egg Award Marketing Competition. The competition recognizes excellence in marketing and promotion for exhibitors participating in the International Poultry Exposition. The awards will be presented at a special ceremony during the 2005 International Poultry Exposition.
The Crystal Egg Award is given to companies who exemplify superior quality in design and production of marketing materials for the International Poultry Exposition. Entries are evaluated on several factors, including design, communications content, achievement of predetermined sales goals, and overall appearance. Only exhibitors from the 2004 exposition were allowed to enter the competition. The competition was judged by a panel of professionals in the poultry and marketing industries.
Winners of the Crystal Egg Award were: Ad Specialty - Interplast, Brochure/Flyer - LEESON Electric, Overall Booth - Alltech, Poster - Embrex, Press Kit - Ansell Occupational Healthcare, Print Advertising - Ansell Occupational Healthcare, Special Event - Preventive Environmental Management, Writing - CyberAgra
Honorable mentions were awarded to the following companies: CyberAgra (print advertising), Habasit Belting (brochure/flyer, overall booth), O/K International (video/CD-ROM), Schering-Plough Animal Health (poster), The Way Inc. (brochure/flyer, print advertising, and promotional campaign) and Wings Ltda. (video/CD-ROM).

Entries for the 2005 Crystal Egg Award Marketing Competition will also be available on the Web site.
